Bind to VNNOX Care via Configuration Files

If configuration files are available, you can bind screens to VNNOX Care by using configuration files. Registering screens in VNNOX Care allows you to monitor the screens with VNNOX Care anywhere, anytime, making screen maintenance more efficient.

Prerequisites:

1. The screens you want to bind to VNNOX Care are configured with NovaLCT.
2. You have obtained the account information of VNNOX Care from NovaStar, including an access URL, user name and password.
3. Screens of both the synchronous and asynchronous control systems can be bound to VNNOX Care with NovaLCT.
4. Screens only of the asynchronous control system can be bound to VNNOX Care with ViPlex Handy.
5. To bind screens of the asynchronous control system, the Taurus must be V3.3.0 or later.

Bind Screens to VNNOX Care with NovaLCT

Different binding methods are provided according to the availability of Internet access. Choose Online Binding if Internet access is available. Choose Offline Binding if there is no internet access.

Online Binding: Automatically Bind Screens by Saving Configuration Files to the Cloud

1. Make sure the control computer is connected to the Internet.
2. After screen configuration is done in NovaLCT, click Save System Configuration File to open the dialog box shown below.

3. Select a server, enter the login user name and password of VNNOX Care, and specify a screen name and system configuration file name.
4. Click Save to save the system configuration files to the cloud. The screen is automatically bound to VNNOX Care.

• When NovaLCT is V5.4.3 or later, the screen binding is complete and you can monitor the screen with VNNOX Care.
• When NovaLCT is V5.4.2 or earlier and the screen is of the synchronous control system, follow the procedure below to complete monitoring configuration in NovaLCT.

Enable Screen Monitoring

1. Go back to the homepage of NovaLCT and click Monitoring to open the monitoring window.
2. Click Configuration to open the MonitorSite - Settings dialog box. Do the following and click Save.

• On the Refresh Period tab page, select Automatic Refresh and set the refresh period.
• In the Set Rereading Times area, set the reread times when the reading of the monitoring information from the receiving card fails. "2" is recommended.
• Select Link to NovaiCare.

Offline Binding: Bind Screens by Importing Configuration Files

The operating steps in different versions of NovaLCT vary. Please choose a method according to the version of NovaLCT.

• When NovaLCT is V5.4.3 or later, choose Method I.
• When NovaLCT is V5.4.2 or earlier, choose Method II.

Method I

1. After the screen configuration is done, click Save. The monitoring data of the currently connected screen is saved successfully.

2. When the Internet access is available, log in to NovaLCT and click Local Backup Files.
3. Select the monitoring data file (.oscfg) of the screen to be bound, enter your VNNOX Care user name and password to bind the offline screen.

Method II

1. After the screen configuration is done, click Export Screen Monitoring Data to export the monitoring data of the currently connected screen.

2. Enter a file name, click ... to specify a location, and click Save.
3. When the Internet access is available, log in to VNNOX Care and choose My Services > Screen Management to access the screen management page.
4. Click Add Screen and select the monitoring data file (.oscfg) of the screen to be bound to bind the offline screen.

Bind Screens to VNNOX Care with ViPlex Handy

1. Open ViPlex Handy and choose Me > Device Control Method > LAN Control.
2. Refresh the device list and connect to the Wi-Fi AP of the device to be bound.

3. Tap the name of the device to be bound to access the Device Management Page.
4. Choose Bind to Cloud Services > Bind to VNNOX Care.

5. After the configuration file readback is complete, select a server address, enter the login user name and password of VNNOX Care, and then click OK.

• If your phone is connected to the Internet, the screen is bound successfully and you can monitor the screen with VNNOX Care.
• If your phone is not connected to the Internet, the screen binding fails. Close the app and move on to the next step.

6. Connect your phone to the Internet and launch ViPlex Handy again. On the prompt box that appears, tap Bind Now to bind the screen to VNNOX Care.
